Hiero is a global creative studio made up of three parts: branding, technology development and a creative network. We build brands, supported by technology of our own and a network of creatives across different disciplines.
Hiero started with the partnership between the two of us, Isabella Lütken and Rhianna Padman. We had known each other for years, and there had always been the sense that we’d create something together one day. We liked each other’s ideas and were different in ways that worked well together.
When we started talking seriously about what we could build, we kept coming back to brands. We were both aesthetically driven, interested in meaning, experienced across a strange mix of industries, and prone to getting far more invested in the smallest details than was probably necessary. Branding gave us plenty to do with that.
But we’re also, for lack of a better term, tech bros. JaneChain started with a question we kept coming back to: as AI becomes more involved in creative work, how do you keep a clear record of the human process behind it? We developed JaneChain as both a creative tool and a way of keeping track of the authorship behind the work made with it.
As for our network, we knew brilliant people across different creative disciplines and, quite simply, thought great people should work on great projects. That became the creative network.
So we ended up with three parts. They made sense together, and that became Hiero.
